Football (Anger) Manager

After losing his rag in quite spectacular (and well-publicised) fashion two weeks ago, landing himself with a hefty ban and generally drawing admonishment from every corner of the footballing world, Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew’s woes are seemingly still not over, with video games specialist Game taking a pop at him too. The latest version of immensely popular management simulator, Football Manager, is being displayed as a Pardew promotional pack, with the offer of ‘free anger management and stress ball’ displayed on the box.

The new year seems a long while ago now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy this lengthy film of Kris Akabusi training to get back in shape and triumph over his neighbourhood jogging rival. Oh, and it’s by Innocent.

In a pastiche of the storyline of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion (and My Fair Lady and Educating Rita and She’s All That starring Freddy Prinze Jr) this Heineken advert from the ‘90s sees a painfully posh young lady learning to speak cock-er-nee.
