Monday Funday: THE dress debate, bearing all and putting a classy lid on toilet humour

Still black and blue from last week’s big dress debate? Or were you left wondering if it’s really Aldi, rather than the great philosophers from centuries gone, that hold all the answers to life’s biggest questions? Perhaps you were searching for that Cornwall-inspired toilet seat to turn your one-bedroom flat into a picturesque luxury cabin? Us too. Let’s Monday Funday:

I see your true colours shining through. I think…?! Hold still just a second…

The indecipherably coloured body-con dress from brand Roman Originals gained more publicity last week than the fall of our 80’s pop queen Madonna, and we’re not talking about her collapse on stage (that HRT gag had to hurt. Strong moves, Jimmy Carr, strong moves!). Here are some of our favourite brand replies to what became the most discussed debate of the 21st century:

The age-old question: who else is going to answer it but Aldi?

A cheesed off bear, some cheap toilet paper and, finally, an answer to the question on everybody’s lips for over hundreds of years. Bearilliance.

Are you sitting comfortably?

Probably not, unless you’re:

a) Already a proud owner of this toilet seat

b) An opportunist shopper caught short in John Lewis thoroughly testing out their bathroom products, about to be dragged out by security and taken to Aldi’s bargainous toiletry aisle

c) Madonna

Any toilet seat that doesn’t take inspiration from the bucolic surroundings of Cornwall is not a toilet seat we want to own, and we won’t be buying any bathroom accessories unless they’re described so poetically. Speak copy team, take note!
